Lots of chocolate and sugar cookies... seriously what is a better dessert for Valentine's Day? Yesterday, I went a little crazy baking up a storm: heart shaped chewy sugar cookies dipped in semi-sweet chocolate and then topped with a cursive 'j' or 'a' in red frosting; semi-sweet chocolate covered strawberries (always a must for Valentine's Day!); and finally Ghirardelli Brownies with this chocolate brownie frosting (..because brownies are even more delicious with chocolate frosting).
For the brownies I decided to spice things up and write 'i love you' in cursive using red frosting. It was a little more difficult than I thought - I've seen it once before on Pinterest and I thought I'd try it out. Nonetheless, I still love the idea because of how unique and different it is, and of course perfect for Valentine's Day.
